18th Annual Super Bowl Hoagie Sale a huge success for Holliston charities!

Meta: February 09th 2010 // Events + News

Tuesday, February 9, 2010 HOLLISTON, Mass – For the eighteenth straight year, the Freemasons of Mount Hollis Lodge AF&AM have run this event to raise money for local charities.  Run by volunteers committed to the event, the Annual Super Bowl Hoagie Sale has sprung from a bunch of eager men putting together great sub-style sandwiches, to a well-organized effort providing high-value sandwiches while reducing costs which translates to more contributions to charities than in recent years.

Mount Hollis Lodge features among its brethren two extraordinary gentlemen with heavy food services background (Ben Wood and Evan Ewing).  Their annual event as well as numerous smaller offerings keep brethren and the community full and jolly (see here for news link).

With the economy still creeping along, this event has been a key contributor to the local community along with other organizations’ generous contribution.  If you are looking for a great deal on sandwiches for the Super Bowl in 2011, and are in the Holliston area, you will be missing out if you don’t stop by!
