Square and Compasses Day: October 17th, 2009

Meta: September 15th 2009 // Events

On October 17th 2009, the Freemasons of Mount Hollis Lodge of A. F. & A. M. 657 Washington St. Holliston, MA will join with the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts and 233 other Masonic lodges throughout the commonwealth to host an Open House from 9am to 3pm to help the public gain a better understanding of the fraternity, its history, and why Freemasonry has been the common denominator of so many great men throughout our country’s history.

As the world’s oldest and largest fraternal organization, Freemasonry today is built on Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. Through fellowship, charity, education and leadership, Freemasons are making their lives - and their communities - stronger by the day.

Join us for refreshments, site tours, discussions, and our Famous Masons informational.

Interested in becoming a Mason? The first step is to ask. Many of our brothers will be available to answer questions. Benefits of membership, referred to in our ritual as the “tenets of our profession”, include developing friendships with men and their families that you might otherwise never have met, personal development and helping others in the community. We take pride in our families, lodge, members, and community. For more information contact Matt Bowie, our lodge ambassador at (617) 272-5084.
